While no doubt the weakest in the trilogy, Ti West’s MaXXXine doesn’t come anywhere close to being the dog’s breakfast that the terminally…Admittedly though, it is rather disappointing that some of these characters — while enjoyable to watch — are as underwritten as they are, as it robs the viewer of emotional investment when they get slaughtered.
