Directed by Finn Ilkka Järvi-Laturi, whose film Darkness in Tallinn I had enjoyed at the festival 5 years ago, HISTORY tells the story of some utterly stupid spying operation in Finland and New York. Jarvilaturi had a very interesting film with Darkness, well filmed in a gritty, low budget, small film kind of way. It really worked. HISTORY however is an incompetent attempt to create a Hollywood style film.
