Although Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials boasts a period setting that makes the show’s cozy credentials even more impressive, this wasn’t enough to budge His & Hers from Netflix’s top spot. Judging by the success of His & Hers, viewers clearly prefer a murder mystery with a truly brutal twist and plenty of shocking violence to the playful, TV-14 thrills of Christie’s work. This may not come as a major surprise to some readers, given the response to last year’s Netflix flop The Thursday Murder Club.
