Associate Editor, TV.Nick Paley’s Hulu pilot Phony has been picked up to series at Hulu, starring Connie Britton (Nashville, American Horror Story) and Sam Nivola (The White Lotus, White Noise). In addition to Paley, the project hails from Drew Goddard‘s Goddard Textiles and 20th Television. Anthony King has joined the project as co-showrunner and executive producer. Phony is a coming-of-age mystery about a teenager who wakes up in the hospital after a car accident to discover his mom — his only parent and his best friend — appears to have been replaced by an impostor.
