After losing her job, hard-working Lee Jung Joo (Kang So Ra) moves to Jeju Island to open a café, which turns out to be next door to her first love, layabout ... Junggugeo Kaenada: Wow, that’s a lot of vitriol towards a show that I considered aimless and boring when I quit. What angered you so much about the show? Only: It’s not anger; it’s exhaustion. I kept waiting for an actual story to start, and instead, I got random bits of drama floating by in what felt like a long-form commercial for Jejudo. It didn’t help that the side characters were more fully formed than the leads, leaving you with no one to care about either. Warm_and_cozy_mayor. Junggugeo Kaenada: Yes, in particular, both of us started finding the mayor more attractive than the male lead.

TV Shows.I really liked Warm and Cozy starting out, but got really frustrated with it in the middle. Geon Woo does a lot of "push and pull" - he'll imply he likes Jung Joo just enough to keep her interested, but then he'll do something stupid to push her away again. However, he obviously learned these tactics from the off again/on again relationship he has with Mok Ji Won, who wholeheartedly admits to being a gold-digger and is out for the richest husband she can find. Geon Woo just doesn't have enough ambition to satisfy her desire for wealth and status.
