Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 was admittedly listless. The show needed considerable set-up to force Obi-Wan to abandon his post on Tatooine, which meant that the pacing was somewhat inconsistent. By the time Obi-Wan actually managed to save the young Princess Leia, the rest of the show's plotline was fairly contrived.He already knew that Anakin had become Vader, and it was already established that he felt emotionally disconnected from Vader. Revealing how that happened is unneeded, given that the emotional impact was already explored. It just didn't have a greater purpose.
