Disney PlusDisney PlusBuzz Lightyear enters the time/space continuum in this mildly entertaining "Toy Story" spinoff.Promoted as a PG-rated children’s film that’s family-friendly, the time travel and time dilation plot points will be totally lost on most kids under 10 (which made up more than half the audience for my screening) and at times the jokes fall flat with no tonal consistency or esoteric wit to be found.
Lightyear as a whole is a very beautifully produced film, with stunning visuals and realism, there is both humour and heavy emotion.
