Despite a few minor creaks, The Last Thing He Told Me is a beautifully crafted piece of television. The loudest praise goes to Garner, who transforms a character who is lately becoming a thriller-lit trope into someone with dimension and substance.In terms of reasonably entertaining intrigue that doesn’t involve guns being waved in everyone’s faces, The Last Thing He Told Me gets the job done.
